Solo Motorcycle Bays are, in the most part, only subject to the same parking restrictions as for single yellow lines allowing cars to park in these bays at times when the Controlled Parking Zone is not in force (normally between 6.30pm until 8.30am).

Note: Some CPZs are in operation 24 hours (See the signs at the entry to the zone or adjacent to the bay location for enforcement timings).

According to a Westminster Council official, moves are being made to change the rules to ensure Solo Motorcycle Bays are only for use by solo motorcycles. The time-frame for its introduction is unknown....
